The Estate
The Estate is 14,000 acres set in the rolling hills of Galloway, Scotland.
We have conifer plantations, also mature oak plantations and arable land
- a good mixed estate.
We welcome novice stalkers on the estate. Our stalker will help you in
all aspects of stalking and also deer management. Estate rifles are available
on loan. (No certificate is required when using Estate rifles).
We can also help and advise you on firearms applications.
There are some areas for the experienced stalker where you can stalk unaccompanied.
We also have more roe deer stalking ground in different parts of Galloway
some of the areas are restock where they have planted young trees, it
makes for very good stalking we get on high ground and spy the area for
roe movment in and out of the mature forest. This type of area is where
we can let the experienced stalker go it alone. Some of our best bucks
were shot on this type ground last year.
All of a stalking ground is close to us the nearest is 6 miles the longest
distance is 20 miles.
We have a new larder for hanging and processing the deer, with all the
correct chiller rooms, and washing areas.
We have kennels for your dogs if you should want to bring them with
you.
The stalkers have 3 trained dogs for finding wounded deer if the need
be, the dogs go with the stalker everyday.
