Stalking begins early morning with first outing, returning to Corbieton for full
breakfast and the second outing thereafter. morning stalking is done on foot
with evening stalking from a high seat, with each outing lasting approximately
three to four hours or more, depending on season and conditions.
Estate stalkers
We have 2 full time stalkers on the estate both have been stalking for 30 years
they have been stalking the estate for 12 years, so they know the ground
very well. For the novice stalker estate rifles are available free of charge,
in many calibers i.e. 223.243.22.250.270.308.7mm. Our stalker will advice
the novice which to use.
Unaccompanied Stalking
We have certain areas that we can let experienced stalkers hunt, this is manly
in the buck season. if interested speak to Tony Halpin about this.
High Seats & Towers
We have many high seats on the estate. So if you like to hunt from highs seats
only just let the stalker know.
Stalking Costs & Accommodation
Roe bucks £75 per outing 2 outings per day
Roe does £65 per outing 2 outings per day
Trophy preparation i.e. boiling out the head £20.
Accommodation
Bed breakfast & evening meal £55 per person per night
Bed breakfast £45 per person per night.
Deer Stalking Certificate Level 2
The 2 stalkers on the estate are accredited witnesses and are available for
level 2 candidates. The cost is £45 per witness plus the outing fee.
We advise to try and come in the doe stalking season, as we have a better
chance to get you 3 deer. if you need more information just phone us. We
are here to help you get the level 2.
